Very clean alloy wheels, I'm jealous.

I think you mean the rusty water indirect-injection system interface manifold.

Perfect place to mount the compressor for a train horn though.

Went crazy on last rattle.
Cut this mount out where the end of the console goes in S70.
Worked!

Went to my beloved pnp junkyard.

I love it, but also hate it.

Whyyyy would you tear up all the door panels that are perfectly fine.

Also, I don’t like forklifts. They keep bending the braces under the c70’s.

One of my kids actually requested a ride in Blue Steel today because we needed to fit his friend’s mountain bike in the back. I was so proud!

Unfortunately, the ABS once again started acting up as it had over the past week. Today, the ABS light came on, even though I’d gotten one of the refurbished ones. Is there something I should check before reaching out to the company?

Seeing as my wife keeps killing tires on her GLT (4 in the past year, 2 since Jan), I decided to try my hand at mounting/balancing tires.
(She claims "bad roads", and they *are* bad. I however drive on the same roads....and more than she does. Haven't killed a tire yet)

I picked up the manual tire changer and balancer from Harbor Freight, as well as the "duck head" upgrade and a couple other needed items (like bead jacks).

After a little trial and error, I figured out the system that also works pretty good with these low-profile "stiff" tires I like to use. Took me about 20 mins or so to dismount/mount the second tire over the weekend.

The new set went on the back of her car, as I don't need her bashing the NEW tires just yet. I have 2 other projects that I need to put tires on and a few junk tires I need to dismount and run to the recycler, so this stuff (I have about $300 into everything) will come in very handy and save me trips to the tire shop.

That looks great! Congrats!

What did you bolt the tire changer on to, a steel plate?

It's a 1/2" thick AL plate. I tapped holes in it, so I could take things apart and store it away when I'm not using it...and the plate won't rust when it sits outside. It moves around a little bit, but now that I figured out the procedure, it doesn't require quite as much wrestling around with things.
I have the other half of that plate, and I could double-it up if I needed to, but I don't think that'll be necessary,

I don't have the garage space to put inserts in the floor and bolt it down there.

New rear brakes for Evita 186k
Volvo rotors pads and ATE hardware.
Both calipers had a frozen piston which had torched one pad and rotor. Bad monkey
Used UBG Shagg calipers
Parking brake shoes were fine so I left them

Juno supported me by guarding the slate and listening for earthquakes
