They basically look the same, and the new one even has the flat section for drilling and tapping a hole for the PCV hose. The connector is even threaded. No too terrible to drill and tap that, unless you live near a junkyard and have plenty of similar cars available.

My friend who knows well P80 tels me that an option is to replace the half steering column. Does someone confirm the option ? I've read severals posts about the tumbler here, yesterday, and most of them say that to use an "used" part could either solve the issue for long time, or just "hold on" for few time.

Had a new alignment done and while the previous one was good, this one was more thorough!
He tried to get the maximum negative camber out of the knuckles.
Handles like a dream now.

Got the accessory belt tensioner pulley replaced. Wow that old bearing was smoked.

Fixed a rust hole
There are two layers here that got welded, an inner and outer layer, I forgot to drill the holes to plug weld the outer skin, I can probably do it now.
Going at it with a grinder. I'll keep refining it but filler is gonna what carries the day. Need to get some seam sealer and epoxy primer.
