940-GLE Alpine Radio Code Help (Serial inside)

"Hello! I am restoring the radio of my grandfather's Volvo 940-GLE as a surprise for him. The online calculators failed because it's a Japanese Alpine unit (Part Number: 3523685-1).
Could any expert help me find the 4-digit security code? Here is the exact data from the sticker:

Car Model: Volvo 940-GLE
Radio Part Number: 3523685-1
Radio Serial Number: 6083490868
Bottom String: V08680 A9100083C

If the car has a security code, is the radio original to the car? I can ask my friend at a Volvo dealer parts department if he can help. If you don't want to post it, PM me through MVS the Vin# as he may need it. I will try without that first. As it is not a North American car we may not be able to access the information. Did you get any owners handbook with the car? If you did, most dealers have the information on a card in the book pack.

My friend at the local dealer has reached out to Volvo for the information to see if they can get it for you.

My local dealer says that the info does not make sense and made more difficult by it being a Japanese supplied car.

They asked for the Vin# as they may help as the info you have given has so far not found an answer.

If you don't want to post it on the forum, PM me the Vin# on MVS.
