1985 Volvo 745T Vacuum Hoses?

I've got a very early 1985 (actually I believe that it is either the first wagon in the US or nearly the first) 745T that my Dad purchased in October of 1984. Its been a real joy to own over the years, but has fallen into some disuse/disrepair. One area that I am looking to address is vacuum hose connections. I can see and find a number of the vacuum lines and have replaced them, however I cannot find info or lines for the connections through the firewall on the drivers side (LF). There is a hole in the firewall with a part having 3 broken fittings that look as if it should be for vacuum hoses or the like. I can only find a single, crumbling hose that goes to the area, but it was not connected. There is no info on the fender well about this particular connection, I looked and it appears that there may have been a sticker at some point in time, however that sticker on the driver's side fender well has long ago faded away.

So I have few questions.

1. What is this part that fits on the cockpit side of the firewall and is there a source for it (since the connections appear broken)?
2. Can anyone provide what hoses should connect to it and where they should go?
3. If you have an early 74X car, would you mind taking a pic of the hose connections through this hole to the right of the brake booster and perhaps giving an indication of where the various hoses attach?
