It might help if you can tell us what the other ends of the red and blue hoses are connected to. (They look like aftermarket upgrades so color alone won't give a clue.)
I also have a '94 850 t% but unfortunately don't remember ever seeing the metal box in Pic #3.

But the 94 probably has EGR and CVVT manifold so there are some quirky lines near the vacuum tree, would help to see the vacuum hose diagram on your car.
The second one, at the vacuum tree, is there a hose connected right now and you want to know what to do with the other end, or there is no hose at all right now?
Found the right places. Bypass valve hose goes to intake manifold. First picture.
Tap @ intake tube gets a hose from TCV. Second pic.
My car has no EGR i think. Its European model, 2.3 litres engine. Not Usa model
What kind of Coolant fluid i should buy, which color etc?
If you are in Europe you may have more options but over here I buy Zerex G-05, it is very close to what Volvo will sell you. But a lot of people even use any old green coolant with apparent issues.
