S60 Lost Key...

I know it will cost me about 145.00 BUT Do I need to have the car with me to get the key?

I lost the ONLY key and it's parked at my job...

Call your dealer and see what they say but I do believe the key has to be programmed to the car. Maybe they'll have a solution.

the key will need programed to the car! of you have a spare which I assume you don't, their is a place online which will make a volve key just by a Good digital pic of the key, I got 2 keys for my V70 for $30, these do not have the transponder, but since I had a spare I mounted my old key with a good transponder in the dash and just use the 2 new ones!

But if he lost the key that has the transponder he's SOL. Like I said, call the dealer- they may have to make a trip out to your car. Or (God forbid), you might have to have it towed to the dealer.
