1994 850 Turbo wagon SRS light

Hello everyone!
On Firday the SRS on my 1994 850 Turbo wagon came on, I checked the code and cleared it. The code was 2-2-2. Yesterday the SRS light came on back again with the same code. Code 2-2-2 means that there is an open circuit on the passenger's side air bag. Is this something I can easily fix or do I need to take it to the dealer? Any help will be greatly appreciated. My car has approximately 161,000 miles. Thanks!

I think I would start by removing the glove box and making sure that the connector is plugged into the airbag tightly. Remove the battery and wait about 10 minutes before you mess with it. You will need to know your radio code.

The bad thing is that you can't really use an ohmmeter to check things out as the voltage from the meter can trigger them. The dealers have test loads for diagnostic purposes.
