Heated seats in 240DL

I own an 89 Volvo 240 DL and recently had the heated seats replaced. They were installed by a dealership and apparently required some sort of upgraded wiring. Both have worked flawlessly until last month. The drivers side has quit working. The switch lights up, the wire below the seat is still connected and the fuses on the panel by the hood release are all fine. Is there any other place to look for the problem or suggestion I might try before taking it to the garage?

Yes, I found this after I posted. My bad:( Just as in the other persons reply, its 20 below celcius so I will wait warmer weather to follow the directions. Thanks for the reply!!
