Read your PM...good luck with getting the car towed to the repair place. Let's hope the dealer in Macon didn't make it so it wouldn't start....when this is all over, let me know who this dealer is and we'll put his review in our "opinion" section where we post about good and bad dealers. Let me know what develops.

I haven't posted in a long time and I wanted to let you all know that the car is up and running again! My problem is the check engine light is still on. This is a big problem since I need to find out what is going on because I need to get the car Emissions check done so that I can get my tag!

The technician said it looks like the problem is with the emissions. So I have the car up and running but I need to get my tag! I will post the codes as soon as they fax them to me.

As usual, all advice is welcomed!

By the way, this repair is costing me $3700.00 so far. I don't know if this amount is an arm and leg but it is surely costing a hand or two

I won't hear anything until Monday so I will post the information on the codes at that time.

Wow... a lot more than I would have thought...but then again, I don't know all of the details involved with your repair (though I know of some). At least you'll get it back and let's hope it feels like a new car again.

I will do my best to post a copy of the invoice when I get it. I think they had to do a lot of intricate work to get everything running again. I do know they had to order a bolt that had to come from Sweden. It has been a long road to get it this far and I just hope I can get it legal for the road again.

They do back up their work and that is good.

Hello Everyone,
I just wanted to let you know that the car is running fine right now. I drove it on the expressway and the pick up was great. I have driven it to work and driven it around town.

It did pass the emissions test! I'll get the tag tomorrow.

I am hoping that this is the end of the problem. But you never know. I am hoping that this is over! It has taken a very long time to get my car up and running again and I do appreciate your help and guidance!

Thanks for the update! Glad you're back with it again.
Nothing is as nice as a your well running Volvo...also, nothing is worse than your Volvo when it's having problems.
