2000 S70 GLSE- P0722 & P1618

Post by nuklhd »

I replaced the ABS module from viewing this forum Thank You! I can not get the CEL to go off, I took it back to Autozone and these are the two codes that it shows still. I even tried unhooking the negative battery cable for 15 minutes, no luck.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance,
Mike

I did take out one of the fuses while I replaced the ABS module, after that I found the second one, removed and replaced afterword doing nothing else and the CEL was still on. ( maybe this is the issue).

We have been driving it now for a week and a half and the light is still on even after I tried the disconnecting the negative battary, no luck.

I went to AutoZone today and the code came up P0722 & P1618, this is what it read originally and the shop said it was th4 ABS and wanted $900, luckily I found you helpful folks and bought one from BRS? out of Massachusets for $134 with shipping and insurabce both ways.

Anyway, still says P0722 & P1618

i'm still getting these codes after repairing my ABS module. the speedometer has not gone out since, though. also my brake, stc, and up arrow lights haven't come on since the fix. do i need to do something else to clear the codes? i removed all the fuses necessary and unhooked the battery while i was doing it. maybe try leaving the battery unhooked again?

Do that and when you attach the battery, make sure your key is in position II.

I would go 15-20 minutes. Some people push the brake pedal too for good measure. I don't have confirmation but supposedly it discharges anything left in the system.
