I posted a link to the pics on page 1 but maybe this is better.

Front side of the stock 850 TB. When you open the TB less than 30 degrees the plastic chunk prevents air from flowing in through both sides.

850 TB with 960 TB plate. I used some locktite on the screws. You might notice one screw has a TORX head while the other is flat head screw driver. The 850 and 960 used different head screws and I broke one so I ended up with 2 different screws in the final setup. The T20 TORX is really easy to round off.

WOT. After this pic was taken I cut the excess screw length.

Finished.

I hope this isn't a hijack, but do you think this plastic piece would be the cause of the whistle I always get around 1750-1900 RPM? it happens every time without fail and if I am cruising at about 1800 or so it is always there. As I am reading these posts I am thinking it could just be the air whistling over the plastic piece.

Hey guys, not sure if this thread is still alive, but I was wondering if anyone knows of a place online where I can buy just the 960 throttleplate?

I've seen them on eBay- but you'll pay a minimum of about $50 plus shipping. Best bet is a junk yard.

Does the car computer accept this modification without any problems? Any possible long term issues?

The ECU won't notice the difference. Since you are in Brazil your car might not have the plastic on the throttle plate. Check first to make sure. What engine do you have?
