I'm wondering if anybody has been able to solve a seat memory issue where the memory is not working. I can set the memory to any of the buttons. It'll work if I leave the car for less than a day, come back, move the seat, then press the button to return the seat to the stored position. It'll work with the FOB for about the same amount of time, but the next day when I go to return the seat to my memory position or use my fob to unlock the door, it's like the memory was never set.
Any ideas? I've tried things like using the key in the door to 'reset' the memory like was suggested on another forum, all to no avail. Is the memory module replaceable?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Posting a reply almost one year later. We finally got a dealer to repro the memory problem. When the keys are in, the memory works, as soon as the keys are pulled out, the memory fails. They said it is a faulty module and can replace it for $980. No thanks. Doesn't look like these are easy to find for a DIY'er.

Try to make sure it came out of the same year (and options, if possible) car. The PSMs do have software on them, and if the structure files are different there may be unusual side-effects.MadeInJapan wrote:Junk yard or get in touch with the kind folks at http://www.erievovo.com call them, don't write them.
