850 Turbo N/A 1996 Radiator tips & Warning

Lots of great tips on THIS site. Tie wrap A/C condenser by hoses to body is a must. Radiator will come out the bottom with shroud removed while on ramps. Now is the time to replace coolant & Intercooler hoses. That bottom radiator hose looks like it's hard to get to....
I ordered the BAHR Radiator from FCP. It has 2 vertical braces in it's center that will rub against back of Intercooler. FCP is sending replacement.

The lower coolant hose isn't too bad if you remove the turbo hoses and air intake hose first. It connects down close to the trans not far from where the turbo hose goes down. It helps to have a socket with a long extension to get the clamp loose and a small hand to reach down and hold it.

I got an OEM Volvo radiator from Waltrip for $207 a few weeks ago.
