Vogtland Shocks? Strut Brace?

Today i was looking at aftermarket shocks for Volvo's and I came across Vogtland springs which not only claim to be better then eibach or h&r but also cost less. Has anybody heard of them? and do they like/dislike them?

Also is it worth to get a strut brace to improve the handling of my car thanks

I see them on eBay all the time but to be honest, never hear about them one way or another in Volvo circles, so unfortunately, I don't have an opinion on them.

I think a more worthwhile upgrade would be the iPd Swaybars.
.....or so I'm told.

You can get them pretty cheap anywhere. If you dont mind ebay thats good like the other guy said. Otherwise this custom parts store is pretty good for things like that. A little spendy but you get what you pay for.

Don't buy eBay springs. You don't want to have something go wrong because you brought a cheap set of springs.

As for the strut brace, it does help. I have been hearing good things about the OBX Version 2 strut brace.

The 850/S70 is known to have a flexible frame*, and strut braces help tighten it up. I've had an OMP brace on since 2001-ish and I believe it's doing its job. Unfortunately I can't compare because I've never taken it off.

Like a K&N filter, it's one of those things that we believe helps, but can't really prove because we don't have the time/equipment to measure such small gains.

* To test this, park one wheel on a curb and see if all the doors open normally. I'll bet one doesn't.
