Hello MIJ
Yes The engine is turned 90 degrees, a 5 speed bmw getrac gearbox, rear differential from volvo 850 4 wd. Engine mowed half a meter back (better veight balance)
Going to try it on a "hopefully" dry racetrack to morrow. Lowe to see what it can do there

Very nice! Probably a bit beyond the scope of us simple shade-tree mechanics, though
Couple of questions for you:
Is the engine a dry-sump configuration, or did you leave the stock oil pump and routing in place?
How much boost are you running?
Did you bore out and sleeve the block?

Thats an amazing car. Can you tell us more about the turbo/supercharger setup and how you decided on that setup.
I noticed in this pic,
http://www.hq-racing.dk/PICT0316.JPG-for-web-large.jpg
You used a NA 850 throttle body with the throttle plate that has a large piece of plastic molded into the throttle plate. You can install a 960 throttle plate into the 850 throttle to get rid of the plastic piece for better throttle response. Check this out:

good luck

Hey Both
As you can see earlier (spelled right?) in this thread, it is my freinds car.
I am only hands, eys and ears for him
I am a simple Shade.tree mechanic
Chuckintron:
Still whet -sump whit some parelel plates welde vertikaly. Top boost at 1.8 bar but kompressor makes 0,9 bar from buttom. But there is an option whit thw FFm Low pressure at 1,2 And the high boost at 1.8.(Henrik turns it on manuely inside) But The best thing is the 715nm. leaves you enough power to start and turn wheels i 3 gear;-)
tlts:
Henrik wanted no turbo slag, And he drowe the 240 volvo whit kompressor earlier,(about 340hp) So he mounted it on just for bottom respons on the throttle, Short The Turbo boost thrue the kompressor( you call it supercharger) who does the 0,9 from bottom. the 35 turbo(mx hp 650) makes the high boost at about 3500rpm (2 blow offs needed)The turbo and the gaspressure follow eatother by FFm
But all imformation can be seen on HQ-Racing.dk
Best regards Gitcar
