'04 S60R stutters while driving

i have an '04 S60R w/ 86,000 mi. It has recently startedted stuttering at highway speeds, it has even choked itself out.. i had the fuel filter changed, but the scanner showed that the fuel pressure sensor is bad. This was a recalled item for 03-04 models. They want $435 to replace it, but i have found the part for around $150. my question is 1) has anybody else had this problem? 2) where is this sensor located so i can change it myself? 3) and being that the car was bought overseas, would the vin show up on US recalls?

If the car was registered in the US then it should be in the recall database. I attached the Volvo instructions for replaceing the fuel line and fuel tank pressure sensors.

The fuel pressure sensor is very common on that car. I'd bet you can change it in under ten minutes. We stock it and have free shipping if you mention MVS. Part number is 30756097!

it wasnt covered under the recall list, but i spoke with volvo and they are going to cost share the repair. thanks for the tips and repalcment insrtructions
