Should I keep or chuck my 2001 V70?

Post by Bella2 »

I love my 2001 V70, and the condition is very good but it has 150k miles and now needs at least 2k worth of maintenance to keep running. Maintenance includes inner tie rods, front lower control arm bushings, new coolant hoses, flush transmission fluid, flush brake fluid, change anti-freeze, alignment, new thermostat control and front O2 sensor ("check engine light" is on), rear wiper center feed tube. Catalytic Converter was replaced at 125k miles.I

I've done all the scheduled services and regular lube, oil, filter service. I'd like to keep the car for another 18 months. Is it worth it or should I trade it in? I'm looking at the V50!
