2.5 tdi 2000 air going to injector pump
i noticed at idle my car would begin to run rough after a few minutes ,i was told it was probably the low pressure pump thats in the fuel tank,i removed this but i cant figure out if it is working properly because it seems not to have any way to send fuel to injector pump all it seems to be doing is circulating the fuel from one side of the car to the other.any help would be appreciated

On your car there is an in-tank pump/level sensor which primes the main fuel pump. This is in the right hand side of the tank. In the left hand side of the tank there is a level sensor.
