Which way does the vacuum check valve go?

time to switch them back ... lolll i was getting confused here

life with a volvo......endless fun...was looking through vadis and no info in the direction of this infamous valve..they should of put an arrow on like on the fuel filter ...just in case of a temporary memory loss :P

Thank you for putting my mind at ease--at least on that point. And thanks for the advice. I'll be trying to follow up on it this next weekend.
