When my first 850 had catastrophic latch failure, it got the hacksaw blade treatment.
The measurements will be useful for future latch dancing.

I’m going to wrap the mounting lugs on the trim with friction tape and just friction attach the trim on all my 99s. There is little point locking this thing in a breaking area, the goofs will just screwdriver it open and destroy it. I’ll fill it with tampons to hide the coins
