DIY is pretty straightforward - not sure what you’re talking about. Did this job on mine in about a half hour.

It’s almost guaranteed to be the module. Get a new one from Midwest ABS and you’ll be set for the rest of the life of the car

Easy if you’ve got the tools but I don’t open these any more, I just go to Matty

That lets my Time go to things I do well

If bread is tight pick up the phone and get on Mattys list for a blemished one to save some dough

I'm acquainted with the OP, and the exchange through Midwest ABS is going to be the best option for them.

'97 855 GLT - Hers. RN swap/16T/COP/VVT/exhaust/302s/Flashed M4.4/ chassis bracing/ 2 kid seats
'78 GLE - Waiting in the wings. Future whiteblock/T5 swap.
