I like Vredstein tries. When I lived in Europe 25 years ago, Vredstein and Gislaved were my go to tires for my Volvos. Toyo's I like too but only when the other 2 were not available. Just got a good deal on a set of Conti's for the R to replace the nearly 9 year old Pirelli tires. These are All season (I call them 3 season for where we live). Normally I buy 225/45/17" tires but this time decides to try a size down and went with 215/45/17" tires to try to reduce inner fender rub. Didn't use to have an issue but after Volvo fitted new sub-frame bushes on the front they started rubbing slightly. Can't think what would have changed. Tires were a pretty good dear as a 4 for 3 price tag!
