2009 is a P3 model so different engine. It is a 3.2 l i6 motor not the i5 in the P2.

Also the age is what you go on with a car when low mileages are covered. With more time left unused the belt will take up the shape of the pulleys when sitting, especially when sitting and at the older end of it's life. It is more likely therefore to start cracking.
