I been looking on E-bay at this one that I attached, it's not as good as the one I use to have at work but it looks okay. I've been looking at this model for a while cause it was more in my price range but now that I'm bringing in more flow I think I could spend more on something better. Any suggestions for something up to maybe a 100.00 or less if it's good, this OBDII is mostly for self but sometimes I do side jobs for people. Appreciate any opinions, thanks.
I actually own that unit and love it. I leave it in my glove box and have used it on a lot of cars at this point. It is a great unit.

Thanks for all the replies, I've been looking for some time b4 I buy and want something really good that can do quite a bit. I might just spend the extra dough for something a little better than what I pasted to my post. Maybe something like somebody posted for 126.

My service light comes on when started and stays on for like a minute or two and then goes off and stays off but it would be nice to have something to reset that like a CEL.

VOL-FCR software will reset the service light but it won't read MOTRONIC 4.3 (but it will 4.4)... It does ABS, climate control, instrument cluster and transmission. If it can't do something it will show you the directions to make a pushbutton code reader and blink them back.

$120 or so for the software and a VAG-COM cable off Ebay for $20.

Here's what I have decided on, it's kinda up the middle as far as the technology from cheap to expensive for backyard mechanics.

Unless anyone can think of any objections, I'm going to get this one - https://www.amazon.com/Autel-MaxiScan-MS ... 418&sr=1-9 - through the MVS Amazon banner, of course. It looks like a really good deal on a very capable reader.

I'm looking at either the pro or the advanced.
I like the idea of the realtime info.
Not sure how useful it really is, but i like gadgets :)

The third one down is like what I just copped a few weeks ago, more than satisfied with.

Well I'm feeling a bit ripped off.
I went for the advanced as per the recomendation of the guy at that site.
And it seems that it doesnt do live data for my car.

Should have just gone with a cheap unit !
