

You can see the damage done to the hood by the 850 arms. I'm going to have to touch up the paint.




this happened to my car and it damaged the hood where the arm touched the hood.simply the arm is not touching the windscreen enough.. I will find a used S70 and mount its wiper arms to my 850..the passenger side is always leaving streaks on the screen too.. sick of this problem..seems like Im not alone..beewerks wrote:Great tip! Has anyone had the issue of their wiper arm touching the edge of the hood and wearing away the paint and metal? I have seen this on a few cars (including my old 850) and was curious as how to fix that.
Do you drive an 850 with S70 arms or the other way around?tjts1 wrote:Yeah, I have the S70 arms installed in reverse now where the pass side arm is on the driver's side and vice versa. No interference with the hood.
