jblackburn;

Should this be done with relay 103 in the car or with that relay's terminals 15 and 78 jumped? Would one better? hear the fuel pump from the trunk or back seat?

Thank you.

Having given the matter second and third thoughts, and I without proper tools, and feel as though I'm in over my head with each opening of the hood, I think that I must either tow this lovely old beast to my regular shop for diagnosis or simply get rid of it. In short, I do not want to waste the Forum's time and should like to close the matter.

Thank you.

Don't get rid of it pull the fuel pump fuse count to 10 replace if starts up this is also an indicator or relay going bad had to do this multiple times and then replaced relay no problems for 6000 miles now the relay is under the fuse box at back drivers side of emgine compartment.

Air flow meter faulty? It is a pretty important part of engine management.
