Oh, and so no one has to ask what "Semi-Loaded" and "Loaded" means...
"Semi-Loaded" is just the caliper and bracket - not really loaded with anything! - and "Loaded" calipers come with their semi-metallic pads. When I looked, the "Loaded" were more than double the cost of "Semi-Loaded" and that was anything but a fair deal. The guy at Centric that I spoke to said that the "Loaded" were also finished with a zinc coated to prevent rusting.

I do recommend that, before installing, you remove the caliper slides and rubber sleeves, tape off the piston and leave the brake line plug in and paint these with caliper paint. I had mine on for a week without paint and they were very rusty looking - not a sign of bad quality or anything, this is just what happens to brake parts. I spun a wire brush on a drill and cleaned them up and painted them black and they've held up well and look great.

I'll take semi-loaded any day. I just need the bracket, discs and calipers unless the pad is a different size and shape?

I have read on VS that even the Colo, bus wheel will take the larger 302mm disc and caliper without grinding.

I would rather buy the lot from one place and I could not find the brackets on Amazon.
Life would be enjoyable if it wasn't so painful to live.

nah, Amazon won't have those brackets. Centric *might* make a caliper already on the right bracket, you'd just have to figure out which car was available with ONLY 302mm front brakes, confirm that the parts will work on the 850 and see if Centric has a part number for that car. I looked up Centric parts for a 2000 V70 and that gave me the 302mm discs I needed, but only showed front calipers compatible with the 280mm discs (smaller bracket). Oddly, they list rear calipers that are compatible with both front brake sizes.

I ordered from Amazon and Tasca (maybe even FCP, too) and both shipped very quickly - I wasn't waiting on anything when I was ready to do the job.

Sorry to dredge up an old thread. I'm just wondering if the 15 inch wheels will fit over this set up. Thanks

You need 16" wheels for this, and I'm also not sure all 16" wheels will fit. My Perfo wheels ('98+ T5 16" wheel) are so close to the caliper on the 302mm bracket that the ~1/16" thick stick-on wheel weight barely clears. I believe I've read that the big brakes don't fit under the older 16" wheels from the 850 Turbos and T5s, but don't quote me on that.
