I replaced my rear struts and mounts per this tutorial. I was very fortunate that none of the nuts broke. My car spent it's first nine years "living" in NH and NJ, I'm very surprised it wasn't all rusted out underneath. There is some sort of rubbery undercoating on the car that seems to have really helped stop the rust. I did end up using an impact on the lower nuts because I'm lazy and didn't have an issue on the top side, they spun off in two secs.
