Re: Central Locking Relay Location?
Wow I never knew the alarm module was related here. The key does the same thing as the remote all locks unlock on first turn rather than divers first then the rest as it used to be. Would replacement of the alarm relay be in order? If yes then are there more than one type of alarm relay as there are locking modules?

The two-step unlock or one-step unlock is a feature (option) that can be programmed when re-learning the remote fob.
Example of Precision: Measure with a Micrometer, mark it with Chalk, and then cut it with an Axe.

Not immediately; I will need to see if there is a workaround (like for the SRI Reset) or if this is to be done with VIDA DiCE only. I am almost positive that software re-load will be required, and this will involve a VIDA subscription (i.e. a visit to the stealership).
Give me a couple hours to get back to my home office and look at my VIDA; your car is still operational, right

In the interim, here is a remote programming "workaround" procedure found on this forum:

Before you do it, you may want to make sure your remote has a good battery.
Hope this solves your problem

Car works fine its just that the two step unlocking ceased to work. I think it important to mention that i replaced the drivers door lock assembly with a bone yard unit after the original broke. A plastic part in the key way broke.

Did you try the suggested re-programming steps above?

Activating internal lights on first unlock push indicates that the system acknowledges the command. It must be the control module's fault (the one that came with the lock assembly you got from the boneyard and put in earier), no?
