B+ battery cable: does the ipd aftermarket part fit?

The upper one should have a wedged shaped piece of metal under the front hole and a bolt and washer if I recall correctly attached from the top. As you tighten the bolt the metal bar under it is wedged on the top and it squeezes the 2 sides together. I have only seen that version on a 96 850 I worked on a couple of weeks ago. Like they guys say, this is not the B+ cable. That is typically a smaller cable that comes off the +ve battery cable and runs to the main fuse box. This may help you see the difference:

This may be a sign that I'm a pack rat, but I'm hoping you all won't criticize me too much for keeping this old terminal for the past 11 years since removing it. You never know when you're going to need one and I'm generally inclined to save each piece I remove in case the replacement turns out to be a dud.

I assume the ground cable has the same connector. Maybe I can get back over to the junk yard and get lucky and it's still on there.

The car I worked on had both of them with the same connector. So s long as some has not changed the ground cable you may be lucky!

No luck. Missing the clamp on both. Discarded when the yard pulled the battery I guess.
