1996 850 P0755
Last weekend I got it completed and up and running again. Found out that Volvo (I found out) charged the pink goo in a caulk sized tube for about 100. dollars. Enough to do numerous cars. My car is running again. I did not yet get the chance to clear the code. But no flashing arrow and it is shifting and acting well. My car ended up taking about 4 quarts out. So far I am happy with the results. Thanks for the great info and forum. I will see where I am in the next few weeks. I was unable to clear the code from my local Autozone. I may have to buy one that does all of that. It would make life easier anyway. Mike

That seems like a HUGE tube of the goo. The little tube I got for ~$30 I feel would be enough for 3 jobs.
The little 2 button scanners can be had cheap enough, I have one. I keep it in glove box and it's easy enough for my wife to use. Though, I want to get one that does real time data, maybe spring for one of those so you don't end up with two like I will (but I guess two tools for different purposes, that's what I'll tell myself).
