I just checked for Bosch Alternator 0123505014, the FRONT bearing is the 17x47x14mm type.
It is also known as 6303ZZ or 6303RS, about $10-$15 for a quality bearing made in Japan such as Nachi or NTN (ebay has some for sales now).

I've not been able to do my voltage drop tests yet but this morning I noticed that my headlights also dim & flicker a bit at idle. I'm stuck with the Sandy storm right now but will attempt a bit of work this evening if I get power back at the house. No battery light, no starting or running problems, just the slight flicker at idle and even that not all the time. Sounds more like a dirty ground. I did get a rattling noise from the right side of the engine the other day so maybe the alternator is getting ready to go. I may try a rebuild this week if I can find the parts.

I ma just curious for those with 1994-1998 S/V70, when did your alternator fail?
Is it around 180K or so?
