Good engine cleaner....mess to clean up

Yeah, no worries as the oil is on the front lower block and I have the intake off right now. My parts should be here today. I just was looking for some asvice on cleaners you do not want to use , because they break down rubber ......like an oil pan gasket.

Tide laundry detergent mixed with water into a paste, and a soft scrub brush. Apply Tide, let soak for 30 minutes, scrubbing where possible, rinse.
