Making one is not an easy fab job at all. Look at the pictures of how the crossbar is notched, as well as the spacers being notched. Can it be done? Sure. For the time it would take ME, though... I just bit the bullet and bought one from eBay for $100.

How are you going to secure the slots in the rear of the camshafts? Your hub bolts are torqued with about 90 ft-lbs, and it is critical that you have those shafts locked down as you R&R the hubs on the front. OR... does that picture show two pieces of flat bar bolted under the angle which protrude into the camshaft slots?
