Water on my front driver side floorboard.

I had this problem with my 93 850 when I first got it. After a deluging rain, there was an inch+ of water in the drivers side footwell. It also flowed under the seat to the back floor. After cleaning out those soft rubber drain tubes (above discussion) it didn't happen again. My theory is that given the buckets of water that deluged that day, with plugged drain tubes, there was enough water to overflow the fuse box and from there flow directly into the footwell. That the car was parked at a left side curb, tilted it slightly toward that side further helping to pool water at that corner of the cowling.
