2004 XC70 Immobilizer See Manual Topic is solved

Not sure about injectors...I have no power to Cam Position Sensor...and therefore no output from it either.

Had temporarily lost Main key.
Locksmith tried "cloning" SERVICE KEY.
.....COULD NOT READ SERVICE KEY.
.....He tried for 90 minutes.
......gave up.

Returned SERVICE KEY to me and would no longer crank/would not turn over!

Question: Coincidental failure of some component or damaged SERVICE KEY and initiated IMMOBILIZER.

NO CODES.

Found MAIN KEY.
ENGINE CRANKS/NO START wMAIN KEY
SERVICE KEY still will not crank.

Main Key: pressurized fuel in fuel rail.
Tachometer does not move when cranking.

any check engine light ?

read the codes or fire the parts cannon at the crank sensor on the trans. no guarentee thats it.

or try to look for dtc codes.
