Rick, at least I will take the time to say thanks! I decided to try this again and it worked fine. I am now back up and running with the Vida 2014A version. I think it may be I didn't reboot my computer as you tell us to do.

Truly appreciate the time you have put into this for us mere mortals!

Now have to try to get 2012A up and running as the repair instruction on that are much better than 2014.

It does not surprise me, everything seems to be moving towards the Microsoft Information method ... technically correct but totally useless answers.

Install 2012A on a different machine?

Before I got Vida working on this Windows 10 Pro Workstation. I had 2014D on a separate machine with Windows 7 Pro. All my machines are networked together through my router. Whenever I need something off Vida, I would use Remote Connect to connect to the other machine and control Vida on the other from the Windows 10 Machine. I could even do it from my Windows 10 32bit 2GB tablet. I was a handy setup, if one used Bluetooth to connect to Dice. One took the Dice and the Tablet out to the car and run Vida over the WIFI network.

That would be nice, but I take the computer with me and don't always have Wifi available or connection to my home system.

Like I said, it would be nice to be tech savvie, but it was never my strength and so I have to work within my capabilities.

Can't believe the 2012A version running in VM wear in XP mode can be any different to fix as it runs with a similar patch to operate it.

I found a solution to the Internet Explorer 10 and 11 incompatibility in with Vida in Windows 7. There is a way to get Google Chrome to work with Vida in Windows 7, it works well and getting it set up is not a massive amount of work. There are still a few things I need to check. When I get them few thing checked and the write up polished, I'll start another topic in this form.
