I like the ratchet that you suggested. I did not use it much with the turbo because I could reach anything I needed with conventional tools after the car "gave birth" to that turbo heat shield out the bottom. I could even get a 3/8" torque wrench to my banjo bolts to torque them to spec. Regarding the control arm bolts I too used an offset box wrench to get to those. Soak down the threads that come out of the control arms with penetrating oil. I prefer a mixture of 50/50 ATF and Acetone. It works well. The car is now 3 hours away at college with my son and it is doing well. Too early to report what the oil consumption has done.
