OBD Port no power 98 v70xc

In my USA '98 S70 GLT, the fuse controlling OBDII diagnostics (and climate control) is small fuse #5, 15A, in the Supplementary Fuse Box (that has slots for 36 small fuses). Supplementary Fuse Box is under the hood, in the USA driver's side corner, very close to the windshield.

The lid of the Supplementary Fuse Box says something like the following for fuse #5:
Climate Control, Diagnos.

The S70 User's Manual lists the Supplementary Fuse Box fuse #5 as something like:
OBDII Diagnostics.

Again, all these comments are for my USA '98 S70 GLT.
Not sure if they are applicable to your car.

Yes I have the same on my 1998 Volvo V70 GLT

The above info is correct and accurate.

Hmmm my fuse is good, but the obd is still not working.

Any ideas?

Has anyone removed the center console? Could be as simple as the connectors have not been re-fitted or re-fitted correctly. Also worth checking no one has spilled a drink in there. To check you will have to remove the parking brake plastic panel. Careful not to break the pins.

There is fuse in the fuse box for OBDII and it's shared with cigarette lighter and some other accessories.
