I think if you crawl underneath you'll see it.

The MAF hose connection can be hard to pull apart. Was on mine. Spun freely but still was a bi**h to separate. But it will come apart.

I found if I tied the snorkel to the engine torque rod with stiff cord I could pull the air box off the snorkel a lot easier than the reverse
