Timing belt was done about 18 months ago at ~78k, I bought the car about 4 years ago with 72 and a bit on the clock, I put 10k on just in October with a family situation out of state (md to ohio and back every weekend for 5-6 weeks). Pcv, MAF, fuel pump, tires, torque mounts, and rear brakes all done in the last 8-10 months. Had my mechanic do basically a stage-0 in the lead up to the Timing Belt.
I am slightly diy, but I have to acknowledge that I usually think I'm more capable that I am / have tools/time to be. In the past when I didn't have my own car and my options were to diy repairs on parents extra cars or just get rides, I did full brakes/filters/plugs on a 95(?) Tracer which was fine.abscate wrote: 14 May 2019, 05:21 Check your PVC for pressure, if your catch that before it gets pressure, you save a lot of money.
Are you a DIY chap/ gal? Many here have picked a wrench for the first time with guidance both online and sometimes just meeting new people
