Couple months ago replaced my 1999 WP at 250k miles. Original. No leaks or weep

Volvo replacement schedule was 210k

I stuck it to the man and won

The AISIN pump is the only one that should be used in these cars, with the Volvo logo either visible ($.140) or machined off ($.88)

Don’t forget the gasket and 7 new M6 bolts with sealer for the pump, or clean amd reuse the bolts with Permatex

You really stuck it to the man! 250k wow. Makes me glad I didn't do mine with the 100k timing belt job.

Ive never seen a timing belt brake, only seized wps. I always replace it, even though it would "propably" make it to the next timing belt change. Always pick Aisin.

Haha,

I have 2 Aisin WPs at home with only 100K on them...
Halfway through their lifespan...
2004 V70 2.5T 100K+
2005 XC90 2.5T 110K+
