Which Copper Plugs

Oops - not true, Bosch 7955 is the FR7DC.

The FR7DPP is sold only as FR7DPP, AFAIK. I don't think there is a cross-reference to the older part numbering system like 7955.

The time it takes to check the gap is a whole lot less then doing it over. Checking the gap is no cost insurance.

I did replace mine with FR7DC, and had to close the gap a little bit.

For what it's worth, my '97 855 GLT at 212K miles has been using Bosch FR7DC (7955) plugs for the past 140K miles. They have been working good so far. I replace them every 15K miles.
