@xheart, the car is still at the mechanic (till tomorrow). Most likely I will tell them not to attempt fixing the blower motor.
I agree with you, @erikv11. There's no way that's where the noise is coming from. Maybe after the control arm bushings are fixed the noise will go away? I'll do as you suggest, and remove the blower motor fuse once I get the car back.

My mechanic backed down with the hole blower motor lead. Instead, we ended up doing the following:

- Replaced front and rear lower control arm and control arm bushings
Replaced Front left inner and outer Tie Rod and Tie Rod Boot
