Hey thanks for this post. I actually printed out your steps and followed them. It was very helpful. I wanted to add one thing though. I used some straps in a makeshift cam holder. It's a bit janky but it did it's job very well.

As it turned out, my timing marks were not hard to spot at all. It looks like someone has been in there before and made very clear white marks. Odd as I am the only owner of this car and I don't recall ever doing this...

Completed my 09 S60. Was a lot easier than i expected although took my time as I was paranoid. Didn't have to pull any crankshaft pulleys. Included water pump swap out. No leaks with Volvo gasket.

Well done mark! Are the 2009s interference engines like the P80s and P2s?

The S60 was released as a P2 until 2010 so he would have the same setup as a 2007 P2.
