Hi Rick,
You are absolutely correct - problem was that i could not find the mount feature in the popup meny, so i extracted the .iso to a folder, thinking this would be the same!
Now i managed to get the mount feature installed by assigning the default app for .iso to Microsoft disk burner in the default app settings.

After mounting the .iso file, the scrips run fine, and i am back in process of install…

Well - Hi again!

I have now managed to install, and everything seems to run smooth, except one thing; Dice controls does not show up under Communication Tool on the Vehicle Profile tab…

Only the headline “Communication Tool” is vissible
The popup window is missing

I have installed the Dice Tools from the 3PP/Products/DiCE folder
And DiCE Diagnostic app is testing the device OK
Firmware is up to date with firmware on the .iso
Did a custom install of the DiCE from the Script 02_VIDA - just to make sure
Restart several times

But it does not show up on the Vida page…

Any ideas?

Red X in Communication Tool .... IE Hosting did not enable.

To fix:
Vida DVD:\Install\Utils\EnableIEHostingxxx.reg .
Make sure you run the right one for your operating system.
xxx =x64 is for 64bit operating systems,
xxx =x86 is for 32bit operating systems

Thanks but there is no red cross - bot popup is missing (attached image)

Tried to run the EnableIEHostingx64 anyway, but with no result - have restarted after also - still no popup

Any other suggestions?

I have two DiCE devices and one of them used to run fine with the Vida 2011 version, but now i am on a newer 2014 XC90, so i need the 2014 Vida

Appreciate all your help here!

Maybe a hint about what is the issue…
I get the localhost dialog shown in the picture if i try to select the car manually and then click ok…

Any ideas?

Finally - I got it to work!
Reinstalled everything again, following your instructions and now it works, also with DiCE!

Thanks a lot for doing this write up, and for your continous support to help poeple like me getting this to work!

The link is still good. The torrent is still alive. Last check showed 21 seeders and 56 peers.
