No need for it. The body style is encoded in the model code. V in V50, V60, V70, V90 is for Versatility which are all five door.

All is clear now with "Body style".

My only concern was that unlike my 855 TDI which is without a sunroof, my new to me V70 has a sunroof, but I couldn't specify it in Body style. So the sunroof part details are probably included in all "V" body styles, which I presume is not that much more info that it would make a difference

I have a problem with the communication tool. I installed this on my Windows 11 machine and the installation was without problem and everything around. But in the tab where u find the carprofile and choose your communication tool it's just blank. Not the red cross or anything. Have you maybe any solution to this?

I went through these directions and all posts multiple times but I am stuck. Reinstalled everything 3 times with the same results.

VIDA loads but I have a blank area under the adapters (not red x, just whitespace). I did run VidaMedia:\Install\Utils\EnableIEHostingxxx.reg . for x64.

Running Win10 64bit. IE Tab loaded in Edge, all other scripts etc seemed to run fine.

My adapter is a JLR Mongoose clone V160 and I have the Drew Technologies drivers loaded. It seems to be fine in the device manager.

Any ideas on what to do to get the adapters to show up?

Edit: Well, I got it working on another laptop running Win7 using the Mongoose V160 clone provided files. I'd still like to get it to run on the WIN10 laptop if anyone has any information on how they successfully installed it.

Which Web browser are you connecting to VIDA with?
With Edge you need to use the IE compatible mode or install the IE Tab extension and use it.

Can anyone explain why I can't choose the dice in vida? It's like Espen explains earlier in this thread but after several installs I can't seem to figure out what goes wrong. I've tried installing the vida script 2 and I have tried uninstalling everything and installing again. 1, 2, 3, 2099, 4 restart. same.
I'm on win10 pro 64 bit.
I've tried double clicking the vida logo in the system tray which opens vida in internet explorer, I've tried open it in edge and google. Nothing helps?

I had the same problem with my computer but i fixed it by installing another IE-reader. Microsoft Edge have a included IE-reader. Check in the Edge-settings. Alternative is IE Tab-addon but i seems to cost 19$ after 14 days-trial.

You must select 'Internet Explorer compatible mode' NOT 'Microsoft edge' from the button Left to 'profile mode' and Vida will work fine, will appear the 'Comunnication tool' tab and you will see the Dice diagnostic tool or vxdiag.

Just tried Vida on win11 this morning, and it's working, which saves me from finding a old laptop or doing a VM. Had the issue with IE and edge, but I enabled IE on windows 11. Ran Vida, which opens in Edge, and then I just open IE and use the url of vida, I can then login and everything works..... Just did the edge changes, so will go and test them too.

New Hello, so far I've been using Vida 2014 d in Win 7 system, it's time for changes, win 10, install Vida 2014D re_Pack according to the instructions on this page, login - 1-4, vechicle profile and here's a surprise, communication tools only text , completely dead, also no response to logout. Multiple installations on a new Win 10 system with no result, all instructions from this forum have been tried, also without result, and they mainly concern win7, maybe someone knows the problem?, please help, thanks

If you ar using Microsoft Edge to login in Vida then You must select 'Internet Explorer compatible mode' NOT 'Microsoft edge' from the Upper right button Left to 'profile mode' and Vida will work fine, will appear the 'Comunnication tool' tab and you can select the Dice diagnostic tool or vxdiag.
