Set gap to 0.3 mm, A/C is still tortures me in hot weather. I can hear how A/C clutch slips. Not that often and not that long as was before reshimed it, but still happens. Visually clutch engages for 3 seconds, then disengages, waits for ~5 seconds, starts over.

On my 06 S60 I had very similar issues. Convinced it was the clutch failing I changed the compressor, no improvement. DIY store gauges showed proper low side pressure. I had the car checked by an ac shop and the pressure was actually too low on the low side and too high on the high side indicating blockage. Ended up changing the drier and expansion valve, vacuuming the system and recharging. It works as good as new now. I am fairly confident on our car that the drier was the culprit, but the expansion valve may have been an issue as well. Good luck

Yeah, I might be overcharged the system. It blows pretty cold when t<75 and high pressure contour has lower static pressure.

It was an overfilled system, static pressure was above 500 psi at 84F.

A/C clutch gap of 0.65mm was tolerable.

I want to recharge mine where is the low port to recharge it i got a2001 volvo v70 x/c
