- My car has been running rough for a while now.
- I do have a K&N air filter and after reading this thread i thought that maybe my MAF might be dirty.

Today I went to walmart and bought some auto electronic cleaner. I took the MAF sensor out and cleaned it off thoroughly. The stuff does dry pretty fast, and after it dried, i stuck it back in. I didn't get 50 yards before i got an warning message saying that my engine was too hot and to turn the car off. I'm guessing that the MAF did something to cause this?

- I have clanged my spark plugs in the last 10,000mi.
- I did just have an issue with oil leaking out of the oil filler cap onto the top of my engine, but that has been fixed.
- Yesterday the check engine light came on right after i filled up my car. AutoZone read me the error code and it said my engine was running lean.
