Thanks people. We are starting the job and the coolant that we drained is green, is this Volvo coolant?
Can we mix the old (it is green - original?) with G05 HOAT coolant if we don't drain it that well?

Odd that what came out looked green and normal, but what was at the top in the expansion tank was brown. We filled it with distilled water after draining and that water in the expansion tank is also brown.

Drain the brown stuff, flush with more distilled water. Flush with water until it's clear.

I've used a little dishwasher detergent (non-foaming) to flush a very dirty system. Run it for an hour or so before draining. If you do that, be sure to thoroughly flush with clean distilled water before filling with anti-freeze.
